Call to Order:  President Jon. 

Opening Song:  "R-O-T-A-R-Y", led by Ernst

Patriotic Song:  "Oh Beautiful Skies"

Invocation:  Roberta Berner.

Song:  Jim Shibles led us in "I Want A Girl Just Like The Girl That Married Dear Old Dad".

Visiting Rotarians:  None.

Guests:  Mary Detch (soon to be a Rotarian) and her husband, Richard.

Rotary Minute:  Lorraine Morrison:  There is an increase in Polio cases in Africa.  People lare putting their lives on the line to get the vaccine to the most needed areas.

Raffle:  Ernst Oidtman.

Announcements:

  • Steve Liss is moving and will becoming a member of a new club.

  • Betsey and Jim will be hosting Busisness After Hours at the Shaker Museum Wednesday, May 22.

  • Steve Usle thanked everyone for their help with the Baker's Crossing project.

 Brags: 

  • Betsey bragged about Jim as the "Prince" in Giselle.
  • Norm Wakely celebrated his 86th birthday with a donaiton to the Mollica Fund.
  • Jon's daughter Kate has a bathing suit she designed in an advertisement in a NY magazine.
  • Paul Shannon's birthday was May 5.
  • Steve's daughter graduated from college.
  • Linda said ther ewill be an encore of "Giselle" September 20 and 21.
  • Mary said there will be a Mother's Day speaker at the Church Of God, with admission being free.
  • Jim bragged that Betsey replaced the clock.  Thank you Betsey!

 Speaker: 

  • Shawn Fleming, Lebanon Library Department.
  • Renovation of the Lebanon Library included refinished floors and new carpet.
  • The Library is purchasing and lending e-books.
  • A key role of the Library is providing communication access.
  • Funds for the Capital Campaign are now going into Operational expenses..
