The Anchor Bay Rotary is happy to provide scholarships to graduates of the public schools within our club boundaries.   

We make three scholarships available to these graduates:    

• One to a member of the graduating class of Anchor Bay High School, 
• One to a member of the graduating class of New Haven High School, and
• A third scholarship to a representative of either high school who has a parent serving in the active military (which must be marked in the appropriate place on the scholarship application for consideration).  

All scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and are not guaranteed.  Applicants are required to provide information that is specified in the application.  There are very specific requirements that must be met too receive the scholarship funds.  It is the responsibility of the recipient to know and meet these requirements to receive the scholarship. 

On about January 14, 2013, High School Counselors at both of the high schools will receive packets with the scholarship application and a list of the required information.  We have made a copy of the application packet available here.  Click the link to download the application packet. 

The deadline for all applications is Friday, April 12, 2013.  No applications will be accepted after this date.  Both high schools generally want completed applications returned to the counseling office and are sent to us in one packet.  In any case, applicants need to pay close attention to the deadlines.

Helping To Fund Local Scholarships and Literacy Programs.

Enjoy an evening of "9 Pin No Tap" Bowling with friends and family.  Have a chance to win cash and prized with Mystery Games and a 50/50.  Our fun filled evening of bowling includes three games of bowling, shoes, pizza, and soda and will be held at Premier Lanes of Chesterfield on Friday, February 22, 2013. 

This is our Fourth Annual Bowling Fundraiser.  All proceeds from this event go to benefit local scholarships and literacy programs in Chesterfield and Macomb Townships.

We have finalized the date for our 2013 Annual Wine Tasting Scholarship Fundrasier, which is Saturday,
November 9, 2013. 

Once again, it will be held at Sycamore Hills Golf Club, which is located on North Avenue --- just North of 21 Mile Road. 

Wine tasting will begin about 6:30 pm, with dinner at 7:00 pm.  We will be tasting about 7 different wines and having a 5 course dinner --- all for $70 per person.  All wines that we taste, will be able to be ordered that evening and we will once again work to have the wines available for pick-up as soon as possible after the event.  More information on the wines and prices will be available at the event.  All profits from this event go toward our Scholarship Program at the two public high schools within the club's boundaries.

The Anchor Bay Rotary Club has officially formed Anchor Bay Rotary Charities and have been granted the  501(c)(3) status at the Federal level.
