| Posted by Mark Farlow on Mar 12, 2013 Next Financial Literacy service project is March 15th. This spring will be our third year of financial literacy presentations to the seventh graders at Davison Middle School in Detroit. We have been very well received and are making a difference to the students and their parents. In addition to the six presentations to the students, we also make three presentations to the parents, the first of which was made in November and the second this past week. Please see Calli Hayes Leslie’s e-mail below for her assessment of the outstanding job done by Linda Hatfield, Ron Ezell and George Stern. In that we expect to divide the students into groups of about 10-12 and team teach them with two presenters to each group, we will need about twelve “instructors” for each week’s presentation. And please don’t be concerned if you have not participated before as we will team you with an experienced instructor. The six meetings are scheduled at noon on the following Fridays: March 15th Please respond to Richard Shapack – Shapack@sgzlaw.com to sign up to participate in this important and rewarding activity. Information on where to meet to drive together to Davison School will be forwarded separately. |
