The project was an overwhelming success, with 7 of the 8 participants receiving their credentials and becoming immediately employable in the industry. The pre-training included all aspects of first aid and CPR, as well as swimming and rescue techniques. Participants were supported with funding from Negril Rotary for pre-training, Royal Life Saving Society training, a tutor for reading skills, as well as travel and lunch funds. |
