| | Posted by Morgan Smith on May 01, 2013 The GSE team from Taiwan thoroughly enjoys a Dinner party at The home of Debbie and Morgan Smith, skillfully planned and prepared by Master Chef Guenther Schubert.
Rick Storey chaperoned the spirited group who enjoyed a walk on the property to Baxter Creek, we're served on the porch, smoked salmon on wild rice patty with horseradish cream, herb bannock with duck confit, and crudité with yogurt and dill dip.
Most of the team were enamoured with the two smith cats, posing for pictures with them. The team is very friendly, have wonderful sense of humor, and laugh openly.
At dinner various conversations circled the table during the meal.
We dined on assorted breads, Lobster corn and pea chowder (was to be fiddleheads not pea but the fiddleheads have not emerged) Roasted tenderloin of beef with pressed potato cake, root vegetables and asparagus and steamed greens, the 2 vegetarians enjoying seared pickerel with lemon, tomato, capers and parsley sauce.
We finishes up the meal with a wonderful desert made under The direction of Chef by Anna Sophia, this was a lovely Caramelized Apple Tarter Tartin with Maple Ice Cream.
The evening was lovely, but had to come to an end, we bade the GSE team fair well, and of course told them we looked forward to seeing them all at Dawn Straka's and George Oven's the next evening. | | Posted by Ash Kaushik on May 01, 2013 The Online Smart Serve Training Program is designed to be taken entirely online.
