The Rotary Club of Cincinnati will host its second annual “Believe 2 Achieve” event on Saturday, June 8th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the outdoor terrace at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse. The gala evening will benefit the Autism Society of Cincinnati, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, and Stepping Stones Center for its Camp Allyn programs. Table Sponsorships are $1,000 which include 10 event tickets and individual tickets for the event are available for $125 each. Click here for more information: Believe 2 Achieve 2013. Donations must be received in the Rotary Office by May 24, 2013. The event, which sold out in 2012, features appetizers and dinner from the Montgomery Inn, an open bar, silent auctions and local celebrity emcees Brad Johansen and Dave Lapham. “The Rotary is a professional service organization of extraordinary women and men dedicated to assisting and serving the Greater Cincinnati community,” Rotary executive director Linda Muth shared. “This is a wonderful event, and gives us a great opportunity to help these most worthwhile organizations and have a great time in our beautiful city.” Muth says that table sponsors are needed for the event, and any business interested in sponsorship should contact the event chair Susan Wilkinson at 513.231.4474 or the Cincinnati Rotary at 513.421.1080. | | Posted by LINDA MUTH on Mar 29, 2012

GOING ON VACATION? TAKE A ROTARY WHEEL! Your travel bag is not complete without a “Where in the World are the Rotarians?” Cincinnati Rotary Club 17 Wheel. The Rotary Wheels are printed and ready to be tucked into your suitcase to travel along with you (sized perfectly for your carry-on luggage). Just “check-out” a Wheel with Kristy at the next Rotary meeting, bring it along on your trip, and snap a photo of you (family members too!) holding the wheel at a local landmark. Feel free to post the photo on the refreshed Cincinnati Rotary Club Facebook Page or send it to Linda Muth at the office (lmuth@cincinnatirotary.org) and we will post it for you. We can scan a film print for posting as well. Also look for these adventures to be shared during the meeting slide shows.
