Our last meeting had 13 Rotarians present, along with guests Tim Storm and Dee Tonk. Happy bucks were donated by John Roser for having survived surgery; Jim Huson for being back from New Mexico; Joyce Davis for being able to spend the weekend in here garden; and Eric Tonk for being able to ride his bike to work. President Joyce announced that in support of our fund raiser, the Charity Shoot, each member of Gary Rotarian would be expected to seek a $100 sponsor, be a $100 sponsor, and/or recruit shooters. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21. Our drawing was at $15 but Mike Easton was not present when his name was called. Gary Rotary has purchased two tickets to the Crisis Center Wine Tasting fund raising event, being held June 13, at Sand Creek Country Club. This annual event is one of the top fund raisers in Northwest Indiana. The tickets are valued at $100 each. We will take silent bids beginning at our meeting on May 16, and closing at our meeting on June 6. The top bid is currently $70 for both.
