Chris Hebert is always welcomed back to the podium to share his wisdom and knowledge about the upcoming hurricane season.  Aren't  you anxious to hear his insight and predictions?

With a B.S. in Meteorology from Texas A&M University and 34 years of forecasting experience, Chris is ImpactWeather’s lead hurricane meteorologist and manager of the TropicsWatch team. His duties at ImpactWeather, Inc. include leading the hurricane team year-round. During the winter months, Chris manages product development and assists with winter storm predictions. One of his main duties during the spring is traveling the country to speak about hurricanes at conventions, seminars and corporate meetings.

Centennial President Becky Mason is joined by Governor Brenda Walker (second from left) as the Beaumont Rotary Centennial Playground is officially started!  The dirt is turned with golden shovels on the evening of Thursday, April 11, 2013, almost exactly mid-way between the two important club anniversary dates of February 26 when the first meeting of the club was held and June 1, the date of the official charter from Rotary International.  Joining with them is Stack Walker (far left), Chuck Mason (far right) and Beaumont Rotary Centennial Chairman Jim Broussard in the center.

Yep, that’s what you missed if you weren’t among the 200 people who attended the Rotary Club of Beaumont’s Centennial Celebration on April 11.  Being hailed as “one of my favorite Rotary moments”, “right up there on the list of great accomplishments of the year”, and “couldn’t have been any better“, attendees clearly enjoyed themselves.  The flash mob took everyone by surprise, but by the end of the dance many other Rotarians were on their feet to join the fun.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Bellevue, WA for providing the "spark" for our Centennial event!.

It only takes a spark to light the fire that spreads!
