Announcements  BILL BALSON announced the passing of his 97 year old father and his memorial gathering at Moffett Field Wednesday, June 26 at 1 PM, not June 25th as reported in the current Rotator. BILL’s father led the capture of a unique Japanese underwater airplane carrier, labeled top secret as ”Operation Storm” in WWII. All are invited to attend the memorial service. It is with sincere sadness that we advise you, Hugh Riddell, a member of our Rotary club for many years passed away this past week.
Here is the notice Janet posted on CaringBridge:
Hugh joined God and his Angels on May 31, 2013 at 12:10 a.m. with Janet holding him in her arms, Anne and Catherine at his side.
Services will be held Thursday June 13, 2013, 4:00 p.m. at Hugh's Church - St Luke Lutheran, located at 1025 The Dalles Avenue in Sunnyvale. For further information, if needed - you may call St Luke Lutheran Church, 408.730.0365.
If you would like to honor Hugh with a donation please donate to CaringBridge his lifeline to his band of Angels and Army.

| Mourning the Loss of a Fine Rotarian
 JOE LOCONTE died early this week after a long struggle with cancer. Joe was a building contractor for large projects. Joe sought out Rotarywhen AL TRAFICANTI was president of the club and asked to become a member. He had heard of the good works of Rotarians and wanted to get involved. Hewas active in setting up and taking down the Rotary Art Show. A kinder gentlerman you could never know.
