Student Achievement, Pursuit of Excellence, How good were the good old days?

The Good Ol’ Days Driving Question Just how good were the “Good Ol’ Days”? Supporting Questions · How healthy was the U.S. economy during your assigned time period? · What economic events took place during your assigned time period? · What was their impact on the American family? · How did the government cause and/or respond to the economic event(s) in your assigned time period? · How did these government actions affect the American family? · How did businesses respond? · How did businesses’ responses affect the American family? · What did the American family look like in your assigned time period? Bring a business associate to this presentation and support local area students.

 

Note:  Board meets today at 11. This counts as a make up and you get a lunch meal credit

The Rotary Club of Sterling was founded May, 1, 1920, under sponsorship of the Greeley Rotary Club. The Charter Night program was held in the domestic science room of the Sterling Junior High School, with dinner served by Miss Ruby Coffin, teacher, and her domestic science class.

The Greeley Rotarians present were Harvey D. Parker, representing the district governor; William S. Garnsey, manager of the Great Western Sugar Company; Charles Hansen, publisher of the Greeley Tribune and president of the Greeley club; and Mort J. Neill, secretary of the sponsoring club.
