Commissioner Cagle was interviewed (by RCHS Founder and Bellaire City Councilman Corbett Daniel Parker) on a variety of topics from where did his nickname "Cactus Jack" come from, to what lesson he learned while being Harris County Civil Court-at-Law No. 1 that he has applied to new job, to County's finances and relationship with state legislators.  |

Hester House) surprised Corbett Parker (Step Forward Day 2011Chair) at the office with a great big thank you note from the kids (with each kid signing cut outs of their hands) for Rotary Skyline's efforts during Step Forward Day 2011 in partnership with Pepperdine University's Houston Alumni Chapter. Participants will tell you that we certainly were served more than we served others. A great (albeit HOT) day!

Winston Fiore inspire us talking about his upcoming 5,000 mile trek across Southeast Asia to raise awareness and money for cleft surgeries (SMILETREK). He was so impressive the club members personally gave $728 in Good News money to International Children's Surgical Foundation PROVIDING FOR A LITTLE OVER 3 SURGERIES...Meghan Zimmer Lutschg & Rene Harris sponsored a surgery each! This year we will be serving the Julia C. Hester House, that has served the 5th Ward community for 68 years. The Julia C. Hester House is located at 2020 Solo Street, Houston, TX 77020. |

MOCAH will be working with terminally ill kids to co-create a mosaic sculpture that will pay homage to the hope, resilience and determination of the young cancer patients. |
