President's Corner

Thoughts from club president Sara Winkelmann

This week the Waukesha Food Pantry is moving to their new location.  Club member John Cox was contacted to see if our club would be able to help move the serving counters we donated, built and installed a few years ago.  We are aware this is short notice but if anyone can help Saturday afternoon (Aug. 28th) please meet at the current location in Waukesha at 1:00 p.m.  We will dismantle the counter, load it into a truck and install it in the new location.  We estimate this will take 2-4 hours.  Please plan to help if you are able.  We look forward to seeing many of you there.

On August 11th Sunrise Rotary gathered in an attempt to cheer the brewers to a victory.  Unfortunately the high point of the night was the parking lot tail gate party.  Jim Perkins not only did a great job of organizing the tickets, arranging the food, and cooking the food.  He did not take care of the Brewer's victory part.
