Windsor High School student Brianna Allen is Rotary's Student of the Month

Two proud Windsor parents were present at Windsor Rotary's Tuesday breakfast meeting to enjoy their daughter, Windsor High student Brianna Allen, receive the Rotary May Student of the Month award and recognition.  John and Mercedes Allen watched as their daughter addressed a full house of Rotarians and guests about her plans to attend Santa Rosa JC and San Francisco colleges.  Her interests are science and journalism.  Speaking warmly regarding her ambition for sports writing and reporting, Brianna poses for a picture with Acting President Leslie Lewis and school principal Marc Elin while proudly accepting her plaque and other award honors as Windsor Rotary STUDENT OF THE MONTH.

The Windsor Rotary Club recognizes 7 students a year like Brianna Allen for outstanding academic and vocational achievement.  Each student is presented with a check and an application to apply for a Windsor Rotary Scholarship.  The club awards $10,000 and $15,000 each year to local students in scholarships.

Congratulations, Brianna!

TheRotary Club of Windsor has provided service and funding to benefit ourcommunity since 1987.  It is criticallyimportant to our members that we supportprojects that “touch people’s hearts”, impact the quality of life for membersof our community and have the opportunity for “hands on” experiences for ourclub members.

Weare pleased to provide our community the opportunity to submit a Request for "HandsOn" Project.  Community "HandsOn" Project requests are requests around $1,500.  Selected "HandsOn" Project requests are evaluated relative to the degree to which they meetthe following criteria.
