| Bruce Burns has forwarded the final report and some pictures from the Rotary club in Brazil with which we are working on our next Foundation project. The final report (in Portuguese!) is available to read from the DOWNLOADS menu, in the green column to the right. (For some fractured fun with translation, try copying and pasting the text from the application into an online translator like Yahoo's Babel Fish [babelfish.yahoo.com]. It won't be a perfect translation, but you'll get the gist of the content.) The pictures -- of the video-conference between Stuart and the club in Brazil, and of the cardio-respiratory monitoring equipment -- can be seen in the Photo Journal section. |
| Posted by Richard Belanger on Jun 24, 2011 Outgoing Assistant District Governor Troy Alexander, joined over seventy club members and guests to install President Karen Morgan and the executive officers for 2011-2012, and to recognize Past President Paul Hartigan and his outgoing 2010-2011 Executive for excellent performance. Completing an extended twenty month term, Past President Paul received district recognition for the club's top performance in two membership growth categories. In his outgoing address, PP Paul, gently but mercilessly roasted members in recognition of their contributions and President Karen "called in the clowns" to enlist support for the coming year. |
