| | Posted by Sean McKenna on Mar 11, 2013 We are a 100 strong and we make things happen in Kamloops. What else can we do as a Club to assist Seniors? assist Youth? We have commitments such as the Food Drives, the PITStop Meals, Junior Achievement, and through individual members things like the Salvation Army Kettle and the BCLC Drive Home. We can do more. | | Posted by Kent Wong on Feb 26, 2013
Daybreak Charter president and past district governor, Dr Glenn Martin (with his wife of 63 years, Mary Martin) was presented with his Paul Harris Fellow +5 at his new home in Berwick on the Park in Kamloops, BC on February 26, 2013. In attendance to honour this wonderful man were several past presidents, the current president and a few members. Following a nice luncheon, several speeches were given. Dr Martin expressed a hope to be declared an Honorary Life Member one day to which it was announced that the existing Board has so decreed at their last meeting. Through Dr Martin's vision and with 33 charter members, his legacy continues 27 years later, stronger and more vibrant than ever with a membership of 95. | | Posted by Darren Wilkinson on Oct 14, 2011

Once the meeting is over, they are the ones that put the stuff away again. Watch out, they are also looking for the most innovative way to fine you also, so be on your guard. These folks also look after guests and do the Happy Bucks. | | Posted by John McCurrach on May 09, 2013 - Those scheduled for the desk are asked to be there by 6:15 am to set up and remain following the meeting to close up the desk

| | Posted by Terry-Lynn Stone on Jan 01, 2013 On our Webpage we have a NEW link to email the Club Secretary your Make-up information. Look on the left side under Club Links... report your visits to other clubs, attendance at work projects and events.. and keep both YOUR attendance up, and the Club's attendance record up as well! | | Posted by Sean McKenna on Nov 01, 2010 We use our website to communicate new Events and Announcements to the membership. You can reduce how many you receive by replying to the Events, or using your Password, you can login and select Attend/Decline. Either way will keep you from getting any more "Invitations" to that Event. The system knows who has responded and only Invites those who we have no response from. If you need a new password, just ask! (reply) The Events tool allows us to ensure we have enough volunteers or attendees when we commit to help somewhere, or plan a get together. Thanks! |
