It clearly demonstrates Rotary's Five Avenues of Service as delivered by the Rotary Club of Oliver, including pictures. It won the District Governor's award and as such, was donated back to the Club and $100 was donated to the Rotary Foundation in the name of the Club. Well done, Russell and Gail! | | Posted by Russell Work Jeff Crowley addressed the Club about his recent trip trip to Transnistria (Moldova). This is Jeff's second trip to visit the orphanages and help out. His pictures and words demonstrated a truly desperate situation for the orphans. Jeff is doing what he can to help and fit many of the children with new shoes. Jeff also repaired the Club's donated playground sets and repaired beds. There is much to do here. The Club has committed funds this year and expect support to be ongoing. Jeff is pictured here with Rotarian Russell Work in Transnistria, Sept 2011.

| | Posted by Ann Hayes The 14th Annual Rotary Club of Oliver Gala Dinner and Auction was held on April 14th. Thanks to the members and supporters of our Auction partner, the Desert Valley Hospice Society, for their help in making this one of the most successful auctions ever. Fabulous auction items, including a guitar, handmade by Terry Schaefer, made it a truly memorable evening. Thanks to all who made this a success. This fundraiser assists the Club in its local and international projects for the coming year. | | Posted by Robert Currie | | Posted by Ronald Worth |
