Spring – a time to celebrate

Reflect on accomplishments and plan for new beginnings

It has been such a pleasure to visit all of your clubs and to witness the many projects in progress or completed during this Rotary year. Rotarians truly do make communities better and you, District 5020 Rotarians, have so much to be proud of. In my opinion, you are the best and deserve to have your accomplishments recognized.

Presidents, please fill out the nomination forms for the Presidential Citation and submit them to me. Your Assistant Governor will assist you with the form and all other award categories both at the District and RI level. Please reserve a table in the 'House of Friendship' at our District Conference in Sidney and display your projects to assist other clubs in their project proposals and to share your expertise.

Rotarians, you have worked to make your local and international communities better these past 9 months, now is the time to complete the nomination forms and celebrate your achievements. Your AG has all of the details and deadlines for the many awards available both at the District and RI level.

I had the opportunity to tour the parks, playgrounds, child care centres, youth drop-in centres, and nature trails, to name a few. These projects demanded great effort, commitment and dedication on your part. Please nominate your clubs and individual Rotarians who have made a difference both in our clubs and in our communities. Take a weekend and celebrate at the District Conference in Sidney May 31 - June 2.
