2013 Report to District 7170 on Council on Legislation

After several months of input and preparation, the 2013 COL in Chicago started Sunday, April 21, with 532 District Representatives from across the world.  There was an aura of excitement in the air as everyone registered and went into the first session to be briefed and oriented on the COL process.  It will be Monday when we start addressing the long list of resolutions and enactments, but Sunday afternoon the training committee conducted a mock resolution discussion to demonstrate the procedure.  The technology people demonstrated their equipment which will be used for electronic voting and language translation.

 The inbound Group Study Exchange (GSE) will arrive on Monday, May 6th at 11:20 AM at the Binghamton airport.

The weekend orientation of the Outbound GSE Team was held at Bountiful Blessings Bed and Breakfast in Freeville, NY on February 8, 9, 10th. It was a very snowy weekend, but most everyone was able to make the trip and once here there was no need to go out.
