Dear Rotarians: The temperatures may not show it but it is Spring time in the beautiful Hudson Valley and Rotary District 7210. Many of the flowering trees and bushes have done their magic a few weeks earlier than normal because of the unseasonably high temperatures in March. But everything is looking green and I hope you are all enjoying the bounty of nature and feel fortunate to live in a place we call home. Our District Conference is only 5 weeks away and I hope you are planning to join us. The Conference Committee has been working diligently to make this a unique conference with a la cart choices to participate in one or more events. We have planned a wonderful program for you, which you will hear more about in the near future. We have outstanding speakers to talk about different aspects of Rotary and we are planning presentations by our own District Rotarians on their favorite projects. You will also have ample opportunities to socialize and get to know your fellow Rotarians. Some of you have already registered and I urge others to do the same. Just remember that this is our conference, it is local and affordable to all. Our theme for the Conference this year is "Make a Choice To Serve." You can also make a choice to attend and join in the camaraderie and fun that only Rotary can bring. As Mahatma Gandhi said: "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the Service of others". Yours in Rotary Service, Namaskar. Tansukh Dorawala
