Waterbury Rotary presents the Not Quite Independence Day Celebration!

The Waterbury Rotary has taken on the organization of Waterbury's 4th of July celebration.  One of the first things that we did was to address the fact that we never celebrate on the 4th of July and not only that, often times we celebrate in June.  We thought long and hard on how to address this and decided that a name change was in order.  There were those of us who wanted to keep things traditional and there were others who wanted to add a little whimsy into it...what we came up with offered a little of both.... Not Quite Independence Day was where we landed....of course that was a mouthful, so often times you will hear us refer to it as NQID.

This Year's event will be a Two Day event with activities on both Friday evening and all day on Saturday.
