Rotary Foundation
Rotary Foundation Committee

Our committee is responsible for the development and implementation of plans to support The Rotary Foundation both through financial contributions and program participation.

November is Foundation Month in Rotary. Although we encourage contributions to Rotary Foundation all year, we place a special emphasis on creating awareness in November.

Our committee is also charged with the responsibility of administering the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. If you are a student between 15 & 17 and are intertested in spending a year of your education in another country, please contact Rod Harth.

Our club has hosted numerous groups of International Visitors including Exchange Students, Group Study Exchange teams and Friendship Exchange Teams.

We also accept applications for Group Study Exchange (GSE) Team Members and enjoy assisting our District in hosting Group Study Exchange (GSE) Teams from other countries when they are here visiting. We are happily accept applications from local citizens who wish to participate in various exchange programs. If you are a Canadian citizen between the ages 25 & 40 and are employed in a business or profession on a full time basis, and you live in the Washago area, you may qualify to be a team member. For more information about Group Study Exchange or to submit a Team Member Application please contact Marilyn Brooks, Director of The Rotary Foundation Committee.
