This is Moorpark Rotary's 12th Annual Reenactment
The Largest & Grandest Civil War
Battle Reenactment,
West of the Mississippi.

The event will be held
Saturday & Sunday,
November 10th & 11th, 2012

at Tierra Rejada Ranch behind Underwood Farms
at 3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark, CA 93021.
The battles reenacted this year are as follows: 
South Mountain, the Prelude
The Cornfield
Twilight Battle TBA
The Bloody Lane
Burnside's Assault

While the battles are spectacular,
you can make a real day of it by
visiting the Union and Confederate
encampments, taking pictures,
visiting the sutler tents
(the general stores of the Civil War),
learning how to dance
 like they did in the day,
and generally observing life
as it was during the Civil War.

There is a huge food court
with moderate prices so
you can enjoy lunch or
snacks with lots of
picnic tables to enjoy your fare
and wait for the next battle.
