PORTAGE ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS

Portage Schools Scholarships
|
Over
the past 19 years, Portage Rotary Charities has designated funds from
its treasury to assist worthy Portage area students with their higher
education expenses through the distribution of several scholarship
ranging from $500 to $3,000. Find out how to apply!
Eligibility criteria includes:
Residency in Portage
Academic achievement Citizenship Dedication to community service Financial need The scholarships are designated for tuition expenses only and are paid directly to the students' colleges of choice.
Applications may be obtained from guidance
counselors offices in public and private Portage area high-schools,
Kalamazoo Regional Educational Services office, or Kalamazoo Valley
Community College, or may also be printed from the Portage Rotary website homepage in
the lower left hand side download section entitled "Portage Rotary-2012 Scholarship Application." The deadline for submission for the
2011-2012 academic year is March 2, 2012 by 5:00 PM. The completed
application must be mailed or hand delivered to the front Checkout Desk
at the Portage District Library, located at 300 Library Lane in
