Clover Park Rotary Interact
Interact

The Clover Park High school Rotary Interact club raised several hundred dollars this year for community service.  The youth group decided that they wanted to share a portion of their money with children outside the US that are less fortunate.

A connection was made with schools in a remote village in Morocco through the two local Rotary clubs.  The Interact club purchased hundreds of pencils, pens, rulers and a host of other school supplies and had them hand delivered last week by a local group of Rotarians the visited the remote area near the town of Al Hoceima.   The village is in the rebuilding stage after suffering from a tremendous earth quake late in 2004 killing hundreds and leaving many homeless.

The supplies sent by our local students will help many that can not afford even the most basic items to attend school.  Rotary interact club, our hats are off to you!
