Paul E. Hellwege Award

The District 6000 Vocational Service Committee, chaired by PDG Bill Tubbs, invites and encourages your club to nominate one worthy member for the Paul E. Hellwege Guardian of Integrity Award, which is named after the late District Governor Paul Hellwege (1954-55). The deadline for nominations is Jan. 31st.

This award was introduced in 2010-11 and is presented annually to a Rotarian in District 6000 who has been a member for a minimum of three years who exemplifies the attributes and passion for ethics and integrity in his or her vocation, business and personal life that Paul exemplified.

This award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions that foster the development of integrity. It singles out a person who has made contributions in business, media, academia or government and who has by his or her actions, writing, policies and public pronouncements strengthened and fostered development of integrity and ethical practices. Special consideration will be given to members who have made sacrifices and/or undertaken risks to uphold Rotary's Core Value of Integrity. Although there will be only one award winner at the District level, a nomination by a club in and by itself is a significant recognition and should be treated as such.

The nomination form for this award will be posted on the left.
