The history of Zone 22 dates from 1910, when the Rotary Club of Winnipeg was formed, making Rotary an international organization. In these pages you will find links to interesting Zone 22 historical accounts of events and people.
Above is a photograph of Dr Leslie Pidgeon, the first Canadian president of Rotary International. To learn more about Pidgeon and the other three Canadian past presidents of Rotary International view Canadian R.I. Presidents.
Read about the exploits of James Wheeler Davidson, the tremendously dedicated Calgarian, who single-handedly organized twenty-three Rotary clubs in twelve countries, in Asia and the Middle East.
Check out the proposed Donald MacRae Peace Award, and find out how Rotary went to Eastern Russia.
