Laura Mohajer is committed to utilize her expertise in business & community development to promote human and economic empowerment by increasing level of awareness of services, products and resources via integration of consulting, public relations, marketing, advocacy and public policy strategies that will contribute to the quality of life for all.
She has over 20 years of experience in the administration of local non-profit organizations; successfully planned, developed and implemented state of the art occupational skills training and human development services that contribute to individual economic self-sufficiency and at the same time meet the needs of the local labor market;
Championed inaugural services for the Latino entrepreneur with Spanish language outreach, promotions, marketing, and curriculum; provided counseling services, business-readiness workshops, and entrepreneurship training opportunities for new micro enterprises in the Tri-Counties;
Administered program, membership, unit quality service and fundraising for youth development with special emphasis in the integration of the Latino population;
Currently directs the expansion of services of a non-profit organization that provides access to prescription medication for individuals who cannot afford it. The replication of this proven model is in collaboration with its board of directors and partners who are concerned about their community’s health and well-being.
Her experience also includes offering small business owners and entrepreneurs with start-up and expansion consulting/training services. She has participated in various boards and committees in leadership capacities and has served as an appointed public official at the City and County levels. |
