Make-Up Opportunities Now On-line
by Schoene, Lester

It is now easier than ever to find a way to make up a missed meeting.  On our club homepage - www.AnnandaleRotary.org - just click on "Make-up Opportunities" in the Site Pages section of the left column. You don't even have to Login.

When you click on "Make-up Opportunities," you will get a list of ways to find a make-up club.

The first item will give you the familiar table that we have published for years in The Annandale Spokesman.

The second item will give you a list with direct links to the On-line Clubs.

The third item will take you to the RI Club Locator, where you can find clubs anywhere in the world by name, city, state, country, or district.

The fourth, fifth and sixth items will give you the lists of: all the clubs in District 7610; all the clubs in District 7620, immediately to our north across the Potomac; and all the clubs in District 7630, to the north and east of 7620, including the Maryland and Delaware Beaches.

Try it; you'll like it. :)

GSE Articles in Free Lance-Star
by Schoene, Lester

The Free Lance-Star has two excellent recent GSE articles.

Edie Gross, a member of the 2007 GSE Team from District 7610 to District 4710 in Southern Africa, has recently written two excellent articles for the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star, for which she is a reporter, about her GSE experiences.

You can read these articles in their entirety at http://www.fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2008/032008/03292008/358040 and http://www.fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2008/042008/04052008/360830

Edie's blog that she wrote while she was in Africa can also be viewed at http://www.fredericksburg.com/blogs/blogarchive?blogger_id=25
