We are all excited to see how ClubRunner will revolutionize the way we manage our day to day club activities, as well as communicate more effectively.

ClubRunner is a database-backed membership communication tool. Accessible by all club members, it allows you to communicate much more effectively, as well as saves you valuable time. Online registrations for events and volunteer activities, automatic email services, and an integrated e-Bulletin, among other features, makes it easy to promote your club's activities.

The website features easy to use content management tools, where you don't need to know HTML or FTP to update it. Accessible by any club member with a browser and Internet connection, it stays current with less effort.

Guest Speakers
by Okun, Barry

Hi fellow Canton Rotarian's,
Our guest speakers for the next few weeks will be:

May 27th - Warren and Ruth Blais from the Salvation Army. They have just moved into their new facility on Shawmut Park in Canton. They are new to the neighborhood would like to give a an introduction of who they are and what they do.

June 3rd - Our scholarship winners will be joining us for our breakfast and award presentation. It was a good experience to meet them last year and I'm sure this year will be the same.

June 10th - Dannielle Ford-Allen from the Neponset River House. The NRH provides / facilitates employment opportunities for individuals with mental challenges. I have known Dannie for many years and have employed several of her members in that time. She will share with you the successes and challenges of her clubhouse. This year they successfully fought against proposed cuts in their operating budget; cuts that would have eliminated their much needed service. Representative and Rotarian Bill Galvin voted to continue support.  Kudos to Bill.

I look forward to seeing everyone at these upcoming meetings.

Regards,
Jeremy

Thursdays Meeting 6/3
by Okun, Barry

Hi Fellow Canton Rotarian's, Reminder that we will be hosting our scholarship award recipients  this Thursday. Victoria Sheppard and Christopher McDonald will share a little bit of their experiences with us as well as be presented with their checks. Also expected are Georgette and Amy. I spoke to Amy last week and she said that the Kafka Family is thrilled that we have continued to perpetuate Bernie's name and ideals though our scholarship. I do hope everyone can attend. Your presence is important. Please make EVERY effort to share in what will be a memorable day for our young recipients.

Regards, Jeremy
