Mike Donnelly - 100th President of Rockford Rotary by Coffey, James
Mike Donnelly is the 100th President of Rockford Rotary and is leading the club during it's 96th year of serving the Rockford area.
Mike is a financial advisor for Edward Jones and has lived in the Rockford since 1984 when he moved here to work for WA Whitney. In 1999, he began his career with Edward Jones.
Mike received a BA from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) through the College of Financial Planning.
Mike has been married for 36 years to Candance, who volunteers at Heartland Community Church and Bible Study Fellowship International. THey have three children: John, married to Cristy, is employed by the US House of Representatives as a Communications Director for Congressman Tom Graves; Meegan, married to Coby Carstens, is a nurse at the University of Iowa Hospital; and Shelby, who is single and residing in Philadelphia, is an Artist and Teacher.
Mike is a naturalized citizen, born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, walking, bird watching, sports of all kinds, and travel. His favorite teams are Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Redwings and the Detroit Lions.

Robert Canfield Installed as the 101st President of Rockford Rotary by Coffey, James
On June 28, 2012, Robert (Bob) Canfield was installed as the 101st President of Rockford Rotary and will lead the club in it's 97th year of service to the Rockford area. Rockford Rotary is the oldest service club in the area having been chartered on June 15, 1916.
Bob is the owner of Robert E. Canfield & Associates and has been a member of Rockford Rotary since June 8, 2000. In addition to his service to Rockford Rotary, Bob has been active in many local organizations and civic commissions over the years. He and his wife Caren are avid boaters and are active in local, state and national boating organizations.
After the usual "dignified" installation ceremony, Bob spoke to the club members about his vision for the club and what he expects to accomplish during his Presidency. Bob will serve from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. |
