Saturday, December 17th between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. "Operation Warm" will distribute over 200 new coats to children in Harford County. Distribution will be held at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Harford County (Aberdeen, Bel Air, Edgewood and Havre de Grace campuses).

This is a collaboration between the Omega Psi Phi Fraternal Organization (Iota Nu Chapter), the four Harford County Rotary Clubs (Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, Bel Air and Southern Harford County), the Good Cause Foundation and the Aberdeen Ironbirds.

According to Wynona Hilton-Stanley, Operation Warm Program Chairperson, Havre de Grace Rotary, "This is a great opportunity for local service clubs to work together for a great cause. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every Harford County child can stay warm during the cold winter months."

Applications were distributed through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Harford County and several local Elementary Schools. Every child who completed an application will receive a new coat. We hope to extend our reach to even more children next year.
