2014 15K ~ Thursday, May 8 2014 ~ Get Your Winning Ticket Today!


$15,000 Give Away is almost here. The date this year is Thursday, May 8.  The recipient is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County!


Members sell 300 raffle tickets at $100.00 per ticket. A final prize of $10,000 is given when the 300th ticket is drawn. A total of $15,000 is given away during the course of the evening as each ticket is drawn. Food and drink is provided to all who attend. In addition, there are silent auction items available to be bid upon. This is one of few Rotary functions where members have an obligation to sell or purchase at least 2 tickets. Changing of the Guard Dinner - MOWA - Wednesday, June 25th


Changing of the Guard Dinner will be held at MOWA on Wednesday, June 25th 2014, cocktails at 6:00pm with dinner at 6:30pm.  Mayor Kraig Sadownikow will be there to welcome all to West Bend. Brian Catering will provide a wonderful dinner and Jeff's will make sure we are all refreshed with a cash bar.  Pastor Jeremy from our club will provide the dinner prayer.  Mary Beth Seiser will be inducted as District 6270 Governor and Lori Yahr will take the place of Mike Phillips as President of West Bend Sunrise Rotary and the new 2014/15 board will be inducted.  This is a night not to be missed.  Come on out and enjoy a night with your fellow Rotarians and spouses. A sign-up sheet will be available at future Rotary meetings.

Whether we are planning a city-wide Amazing Race, 15K raffle fundraiser, putting lights in trees for Enchantment at Regner Park, raising funds in order to eradicate polio worldwide, fix a roof or put in a storm sewer in El Salvador and on and on, we have an amazing group of Rotarians who come forward and volunteer their time and talents in order to get these things done. West Bend Sunrise Rotary "Red Badge Program"


West Bend Sunrise Rotary is pleased to announce the "Red Badge Program".  Red ribbons are added to member name tags that indicate that they need to complete eight tasks if they are a new member and five tasks if they are a previous member.  None of the tasks are too hard or too time consuming.  We hope this helps our new members get involved in the various activities, meetings and events that Sunrise Rotary is part of.  Once the required number of tasks are completed, the red ribbon will be removed.  Various tasks are listed below:

Greet members prior to meeting along with the scheduled greeter.             

Announce guests and visiting Rotarians for the President.                              

Give a vocational talk (you will be asked to do this at your induction.)        

Watch a Rotary Video.                                                                          

Visit two Rotarians at their place of business.                                                    

Attend a Rotary function other than a regular meeting.                                      

**Attend a District function (next one Oct. 26 at MPTC)                          

Make-up a meeting at another Rotary Club.                                                      

**Do an on-line make-up at                                     

Attend a West Bend Sunrise Rotary Board Meeting.                                 

Participate on a West Bend Sunrise Rotary Committee.                             

Donate $100 to Rotary International Foundation.                                    

Donate $100 to the West Bend Sunrise Foundation.                                

Tour the projects that the West Bend Sunrise Rotary funded.
