Several members have contacted me regarding problems logging in to the new website. The problem, with one exception, can be traced to a glitch in the new software and there is a simple solution for the user.
When you fill in your login and password information and hit enter or click the login button, you expect to be directed to a fresh page on the website. THIS DOES NOT ALWAYS HAPPEN. You may have to click on the home tab or the admin tab at the top of the login page to be directed to the site. Please note the admin page provides you with a menu of services within the site.
If your login was not successful, a message should come up in red letters that says, "I didn't recognize your login name and password combination."
I have submitted a request to the help-desk to see if they can remedy this situation. I am also posting this message on the home page where members can see it and be reminded of the process, even if they are not logged in. Thank you for your understanding. |
