Rhinebeck Rotary Installs New Officers
Rhinebeck, NY - Linwood Spiritual Center was the sight of the June 30, 2008 installation of Officers and Board Members for the Rhinebeck Rotary Club.
|
| Newly installed President Robert Phillips used the forum as an opportunity to layout suggested club focuses for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Mr. Phillips listed a heightened awareness of Rotary's positive impact on the Rhinebeck community as a key priority for his presidency.
Rotary International is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations. Team-building, fundraising, public speaking, planning, organization, and communication are just some of the leadership skills that club members can exercise and enhance.
Rotary's motto "Service Above Self" conveys the humanitarian spirit and strong fellowship among the Club's 1.2 million members and is also reflected in the Club's meaningful community and international service projects.
Mr. Phillips would like all to know that membership is open to those meeting one of the following criteria: an individual should hold or have held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy and recognized business or profession; or serves or has served as a community leader, or is a Rotary alumna.
