In 1917, past Rotary International President Arch Klumph created an endowment fund with the purpose of "doing good in the world." The initial contribution to this fund was $26.50. In 1928, when the endowment fund had grown to more than $5,000, the fund was renamed The Rotary

| The District 6440 international team has arranged two 2009-2010 hands-on-mission trips to Guatemala. Each group will be limited to 30 volunteers. The groups will travel back to back going the third and fourth weeks of January. The first group will leave Chicago January 16 and the second group will leave on January 23.
