As one of the first supporters of the Rotary Race to Literacy Book Drive, Mrs. Karen McDonald Gayle (left), from the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica, presented DG Errol Alberga with a cheque for J$200,000. The money will go towards purchasing specialty children's books for those with disabilitie "braille, autism, learning disabilities. The groundwork to sponsor and establish the first community–based Rotaract club in the US Virgin Islands began over the summer months (2009) and resulted in the club formation on October 20, 2009.
