Several clubs in the district are considering sending ShelterBoxes to earthquake victims in Haiti.
A ShelterBox is a large, rugged, green plastic container that holds a 10-person tent and a range of other equipment. At a cost of $1000, the box provides invaluable resources to those in need following a disaster. Read more about the ShelterBox program and how you can get involved at www.shelterboxusa.com.

PDG Karen Teichman of the Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Club was appointed by RI President-Elect John Kenny as a member of the 2010 Montréal Convention Promotion Committee whose main aim is to promote next year's RI convention in Montréal, Quebec, Canada and encourage the attendance of Rotarians from around the world.
The Promotions Committee met for the first time in late April 2009. They toured the Palais des congrès de Montréal and the Bell Centre (home of the Montréal Canadiens ice hockey team) where the RI convention's opening and plenary sessions will be held. The group also visited tourist spots around the city, which will be featured in promotions this coming year.

Latest District Directory published from Clubrunner data.
Draft 0 District Directory
The District website has been promoted for a few months now. It's time to see what the District Directory looks like on the district website. The information displayed in this report is a representation of what all the club editors have been inputing over the last year.
Use this report as a draft of what you need to change to make the district directory a valuable tool for all Rotarians in our district. I will be republishing this directory once a month to include the latest updates so that we can have a "LIVE" document over the upcoming year.
