 | Rotaract Club of Silicon Valley Raises $51K |
| The Rotaract Club of Silicon Valley raised $51K to benefit the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at Valley Medical Center (VMC) in San Jose, with the purchase of two new giraffe beds. The fundraising was launched with the Giraffe Bed Benefit, a dinner and auction, held November 2007 at Eulipia Restaurant & Bar in downtown San Jose.
Seeing the club's amazing commitment, additional funding came forward from the following organizations totaling $144K for VMC: Heffernan Foundation $8K, San Jose Sharks Foundation $25K, Rotary Club of Cupertino $25K, VMC Foundation $25K, VMC Vendors $10K.
