 | Another update of Rotarians who have offered to open their homes to those in harms way. We received more offers than could be displayed on the main web page.
WOW!!! The response of Rotarians for those in need is always amazing.

Pat & Patricia Gallaher - Patricia and I have put our window protection up and are leaving for the west side of Houston near the Halliburton Corp. Office later this afternoon or evening. Eva Konrad - We are in Pearland, which is already at the stage of voluntary evacuation which might change to mandatory later. However, we will probably wait out the storm in our company at 5331 W. Orange St. Pearland, 77581. (Tilt wall and storm shutters). If anyone wants to camp here, they are welcome. Need to bring mattresses and supplies.

Karol Fletcher - I apologize.....bedrooms are full with all the family/kids/animals/etc.so far a total of 14 not including the animals..but I have lots of floor space and open door policy.....my street floods, but as long as they don't care or plan on leaving once it hits...my house is open. All they need do is bring beer...I've got meat/chips/ice/water

Vicki Brentin - We have just opened our home in Bellaire to a family from Minnesota staying at Rotary House that I only just met a couple of days ago. They were forced to evacuate, with no support system here, no where to go. We are happy to have them. My only concern is that if we end up without power , as a cancer patient, she would be very uncomfortable and she would not be in any condition to easily evacuate a long distance. Hopefully that will not happen, but if it does - I will certainly be searching for a Rotarian house for them that still has power. Thanks for what you are doing.
