This Rotary year, our District will be sending a Team to District 4520 in Brazil in April 2010. Early in this calendar year, information regarding this exchange was sent to all Clubs, asking for nominations for both Team Leader positions and Team Member positions.

On Sunday 19th July, interviews for Team Leader were held in Geelong and on Sunday 2nd August, the selection of four Team members was held in Hamilton.

P.P. Rob McDougall from the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast Inc was selected at the Team leader and he will lead a four member team comprising:
Janet McKinnon, Lachlan Miles, Genai Roberts and Shaun Cumming.

Team Leader Rob is an Operations Support Manager with SP-AusNet in Melbourne. Rob is a member of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast Inc.

Janet is a Disability Support Worker employed by D.H.S. Janet works in Geelong and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Highton Inc.

Lachlan is an Accountant who is employed by Webb Group in Melbourne, and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Belmont Inc.

Genai is a Senior Environmental Advisor with Iluka Resources in Hamilton and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hamilton Inc.

Shaun is a Manager – Capital Delivery with Barwon Water in Geelong and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Geelong Inc.

Their first team meeting is scheduled for Sunday 23rd August 2009.
