 Once again your response to the Haiti earthquake victims has been heroic. Congratulations on a job well done! As your district governor, I am proud of you and your excellent work. As of Jan. 29, we have 50 clubs that have agreed to sponsor a ShelterBox and receive a match from District Designated Funds (DDF) for a second ShelterBox. Each ShelterBox has a tent for 10 people. This will enable us to shelter 1,000 earthquake victims. Clubs may sponsor additional ShelterBoxes and these contributions may be included as part of the district sponsorship (without a match) or sent directly to ShelterBox USA.

| Districts 6440 and 6450 will join with Rotary International to sponsor a February 23 lighting of the Wrigley Building in Chicago in recognition of Rotary Day. doing things such as wearing your Rotary pin, completing a make-up
at another club, inviting a friend to a Rotary meeting, and becoming a
Paul Harris Fellow.
