Interactors...Rotaractors...Rotary Youth Exchange Students...Rotarians...and anyone interested in starting an Interact Club are invited.
It is time for our D5890 Interactors to prepare for another successful "Service Above Self" year.
On Saturday, September 15th, we are having our 2012 District 5890 Interact Club Round-Up at Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. We are very proud that THE VERY FIRST INTERACT CLUB IN THE STATE OF TEXAS...D5890's very own Robert E. Lee High School Interact Club...is hosting this year's Round-Up.
This is a FREE event!
Registration begins at 8 a.m., the event starts at 9 a.m. and will end at 1:30 p.m.
Last year, over 400 Interactors attended this event, and we expect to break that record this year.
If any D5890 Rotary clubs would like to sponsor the beverages, lunch, or snacks for the event, please contact Tommie Buscemi at tommie5890@suddenlink.net.
All Interactors (all members, officers, directors, and potential members), Teacher/Faculty Advisors, Rotary Sponsors, Rotaractors, Rotary Youth Exchange Students and all District 5890 Rotarians are invited. This is a great opportunity for everyone to learn about projects, network with other Interact clubs, and make new friends.
Come learn more about all of our "New Generations" Avenue of Service Programs: Interact, Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) scholarships, and Rotaract.
There is no cost to attend, but we do ask that you RSVP, and the number you RSVP for needs to be the number that attends the Round-Up since food (kolaches for breakfast, pizza for lunch) and beverage will be purchased to accommodate that number.
If your Interact club plans to attend, please send me an email by September 12th with the total number attending.
Door Prizes: We are asking all Interact clubs to bring an item or two for door prize drawing. Items can include a $10-$15 gift card, a gift basket or anything else you would like to donate. Sponsoring Rotary Clubs - please help your Interactors obtain these items.
