District 9500 Strategic Plan

Following the example and recommendations of RI, we have established a 3 year Strategic Plan for our District focusing on 2009/10 - a plan we can all support that will assist us to prosper as a professional service organisation for the next century.

will:
1. Support training & development of District members
2. Encourage maximum financial giving to The Rotary Foundation.
3. Advance the recognition & Public Image of Rotary.
4. Increase our District's capacity to provide service to others through an increase of clubs, membership & improved communication.
5. Emphasise the need & assist clubs to increase focus on Vocational Service.
6. Encourage & assist clubs to focus on development of youth through community & Rotary programs.
7. Develop leadership skills of Rotarians to equip them for leadership roles in Rotary.
8. Evaluate this plan & goals annually to be in alignment with Rotary's needs & expectations, disseminate the plan throughout the District, train members & assist Clubs to develop their own strategic plans to ensure their future.
