|Books of the World Ships 100th Container
|Posted on Oct 12 2010
|This month, our Books For The World – International Service Project is proud to announce the shipment of our 100th _ 40' shipping container of books to Rotarian led literacy projects in Africa, India and other countries around the world. We currently need help moving pallets of books from Total Quality Books (6309 Long Dr., Houston, TX 77087) to our export shipper EXEL (9705 Hwy 225, La Porte, TX 77571).
|Total Quality Books does not have a loading dock, so a stake bed truck
would be ideal. If you or someone you know can help with this important
Rotary Service Project, please contact PDG Charlie Clemmons at firstname.lastname@example.org or 281-474-2260 or Terry Ziegler at email@example.com or 713-748-1730.
Please consider donating to this great project at the project website www.rotarybooksfortheworld.org.
All Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and their friends are welcome
to participate in the sorting and palletizing of books at the Long
Drive location on the first Thursday evening of the month from 6 to 8:30
PM and on the following Saturday mornings from 10 AM to 12:30 PM:
November 6, 2010, January 15, 2011, February 26, 2011 and April 9, 2011.
