Update - PDG Charlie Clemmons Recovery from By-Pass Surgery

(May 21, 2011) I received a text messge from Barbara that Charlie continues his recover and has been moved to Room 3359.  She reports that Charlie is progressing, a little tired and is trying to rest.  She adds, "Thanks for all the prayers and concern everyone has shown"

I was pleased to report to Barbara that so many Rotarians across the District relayed their prayers and best wishes, that I decided to not forward them to Barbara cell phone under the fear that I would flood her cell phone.

Please keep PDG Charlie and Barbara in your prayers. 

Proves again, prayers do work!!!!!!

(May 19 2011) Wanted to report to each of you that I received a text message from AG Barbara Clemmons this afternoon that her husband, PDG Charlie Clemmons, was out of surgery and everything went well.

Barbara reported that Charlie was in ICU, was able to open his eyes partially and understand spoken questions and instructions.  If Charlie continues to recover sucessfully, he should be out of the hospital in about 5 days.

(May 18 2011)  AG Barbara Clemmons has reported that her husband, PDG Charlie Clemmons, has gone through a Cardiac Catheterization procedure and is scheduled for a Triple By-Pass Surgery tomorrow morning at Clear Lake  Heart Hospital (495 Medical Center Boulevard, Webster, Texas, 77598 - 281.332.2511).

Please keep Charlie and his family in your prayer as we wish him a successful surgery and speedy full recovery.  We will report an update when we hear more.
