 | Space Center Rotary Club would like to invite you to join
us at our PAUL HARRIS FELLOW & FLOYD BOZE FELLOW DINNER, in
celebration of PDG Floyd Boze 94th birthday on Feb 7, 2012, (social
starts at 6pm). The dinner will be held at Bay Oaks Country Club,
located at 14545 Bay Oaks Blvd, Houston, TX 77059. Tickets are $35 each, dress is business formal. Please call Art Oswald at 281-461-7876 to
RSVP, deadline for meal count is Feb 1st. Following Space Center Rotary Club's tradition, each year we celebrate
Floyd’s birthday to honor the first member of our club to be elected
District Governor (1981-82). Floyd has served in practically every
capacity as a member of the Carthage, San Angelo, Lubbock, and Space
Center (since 1973) Clubs. Brother Floyd continues to be a mainstay of
Space Center Rotary Club & still maintains a passion for Rotary,
evidenced by his 50+ years of perfect attendance. |
In 1993 when the Space Center Rotary Endowment Foundation was established, the club members, desiring to follow the Rotary International Foundation model of providing a fellowship as means of honoring contributors, decided to further honor Floyd by establishing the Floyd Boze Fellowship. At this time, there are 70+ Floyd Boze Fellows. Their names are proudly displayed on a banner at every club meeting.
