 | Brazosport Rotary's Safetytown 2009 will kick off on Monday, June 8, 2009. It will run for 2 weeks at Elisabet Ney Elementary School in Lake Jackson and then run for 2 weeks at Lanier Middle School in Freeport. This is Safetytown's 21st year of providing safety education for all incoming first graders in the BISD service area.

We would love for all Rotarians to come out and visit during one of the sessions. It is a very structured educational program that, in the classroom component, teaches the necessary skills to live safely and prevent needless childhood accidents. Then each child has the opportunity to practice these skills in a life-like setting.
