Leadership Training Institute - Sept 10-11

On September 10-11, 2011, District 5890 will train selected District Rotarians who will participate in a two day workshop designed to improve their personal leadership skills.  Clubs in the district are invited to send two Rotarians that would like to participate in the interactive workshop on September 10-11, 2011 Clubs may send a maximum of 2 members and the class will be limited to the first 24 who send in the registration fee of $250. 

The Institute will be held at the Northwest Forest Conference Center located at 12715 Telge Road, Cypress, Texas 77429, Information on the conference center may be found on the Northwest Conference Center website at www.northwestforest.com
The Leadership Institute will be very interactive and will cover material in the following general topic areas:
    
Meeting Management               Servant Leadership
Social Style                                 Empowerment
Characteristics of Leaders      Communicating in a Changing World
Interactive Exercises                 Listening Skills
Personal Accountability            Ethics
Conflict Management

Attendees must attend both days of the training and stay overnight at the conference center.  The registration fee for the two day Institute is $250 and covers all materials, four meals beginning with lunch on Saturday, September 10 and the cost of lodging.  Participants will be billeted two per room in non-smoking rooms.  Smoking in the room will incur a substantial charge to room occupants beyond the registration fee.

Attendees should arrive at the Northwest Forest Conference Center no later than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10 and be prepared to stay until the workshop concludes at about 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11.  Meetings will be held in the Conquistador Meeting Room.  Dress for the institute is business casual.
