I am the district's "LVC", (lead vampire cheerleader) and I want you to join me in this Life-Saving Rotary project. I can help your club with a very simple community service project; hosting a blood drive in your community. Not only will it help save lives, it will give your club some valuable PR at the same time. (Hint: You can even use the drive to help your club qualify for the Presidential Citation.) Our district has been challenged by other districts in the state to see who will collect/donate the most blood.
This is D-5830's first year to be involved in the challenge - let's show the rest of the state just what we are made of and how generous we are! Even if you cannot personally donate some blood, you can help by spreading the word. (And just showing up counts!)
