Some 8,000 teens this year will see the world the way it is best seen-from the inside out-through Rotary's Youth Exchange program. Students typically spend a year in a country other than their own, living with a host family. They may learn a new language, learn a new way of living, and certainly learn a great deal more about themselves.
Host family members learn from the experience as well. They learn about the student's country, culture, and ideas. Youth exchange students are true ambassadors, helping to bring the world closer together and making good friends in the process.
